The IGP DM-06-S2X L-Band Modulator is a powerful DVB satellite modulator capable of generating carriers in DVB-S, DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X over L-band from 950 – 2150 MHz. Suited for the transmission of full transponder multiplexes from fixed antenna’s and single or multiple carriers from DSNG’s.
Each unit comes with its own test report and 5 years warranty.

Key Features
No extra software or hardware options are needed as the unit comes with a full feature set such as:
- Modulation: QPSK, 8-PSK, 16-PSK and 32-PSK,
- DVB-S, S2 and S2X with ROF (Roll-Off Factor) down to 5% for much improved efficiency over S2
- Throughput of up to 100 Mbps
- 10 MHz at 0.01 PPM and 24 Volts to output to external up-converters
- IP and ASI inputs
- BISS scrambling
- Carrier ID as required by satellite operators starting in 2018
Redundancy Manager
The MD-06-S2X modulator integrates fully with IGP’s Advanced content based Redundancy Manager. This Redundancy Manager uses site diversity software with intelligent switching (within one second to an optional amplifier) based on source comparison and multiple receiver info:
