Using SECTOR ALPHA for an area of 120° or more will disrupt drone communications within that area. The efficient override waveform technology uses a fraction of the power of traditional systems and will not cause interference with other systems on the ground. When needed, all sectors may be switched on at the same time creating 360° coverage.
The very high gain of the antennas in combination with a very narrow vertical beam width results in very limited unwanted overspill and thus allowing the system to be switched on permanently in most applications.
Since UAV’s video transmission is not interrupted when a directional antenna is pointed at the UAV, sector blocking also affects video receivers within the entire sector. The topology also allows for separate installation at convenient locations if this would suit a location of interest better.
